Subaru Levorg Release: Deliveries will take awhile for future orders

On June 20, Subaru officially released its new sports wagon, the Levorg. The Levorg was launched at the Tokyo Motor Show in November 2013. It is Subaru’s brand new premium wagon that replaces its Legacy Touring Wagon which debuted 25 years ago.

According to the public relations department at Fuji Heavy Industries, they have received 14,000 orders for the Levorg as of the end of May. For orders that are placed now, they said, “Whether it’s the 1.6 or 2.0 liter model with or without EyeSight, the Levorg will be delivered to our customers at around September”.

Amongst domestic cars, the sports wagon is a class of vehicles that has disappeared. Let’s see if the Levorg can bring success back to its domestic market.
