On June 16, Nissan and Gran Turismo official revealed the Concept 2020 Vision Grand Turismo.
The car was developed by young designers at Nissan Design Europe in London who were given the freedom to design what they consider their dream sports car. Their design was then sent to the Nissan Technical Center where engineers offered technical feedback. In this way, the concept car is a collaboration of design and technology.
At the present time, details such as the power train have not been released. Nissan said, "The Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo is a hint of what's to come. It's a supercar with a 2+2 layout and a body with advanced aerodynamics."
The company is planning to offer the Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo in July for download through a free update to the Gran Turismo 6 game for PlayStation 3.
Both companies commented, "The Nissan Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo is a car that points in the possible direction of design to come."
