This was revealed by Nissan Motor Company’s British corporation, Nissan UK on June 17. They announced , “Our salesman at Gateshead has sold a total of 200 units of the Leaf on his own. It’s a new sales record for the UK.”
This successful salesman is Mr. Gareth Chandler (34 y.o.) of Benfield Nissan in Gateshead, UK. Total sales of the Leaf exceeds 110,000 units around the world and approximately 4,200 units are sold in the UK. Of that number, 200 were sold by Mr. Chandler which is an amazing feat.
His strength is the fact that he himself is a Leaf owner as well. He drives his Leaf everyday so he’s a salesman who surely knows everything about this vehicle.
Mr. Chandler said, “A lot of the customers who are interested in purchasing the Leaf are anxious about switching from a regular gasoline car to an electric vehicle.
