Hyundai Genesis Coupe Hurricane SC

Hyundai Genesis Coupe SC Hurricane
The Hyundai Genesis Coupe is a fine vehicle by anyone’s standards. It’s front-engine RWD configuration appeals to sports car purists around the world, and the fact its engine options – either the 2.0 litre turbocharged 4-cylinder or the 3.8 litre V6 – can be modified innumerable ways is the cherry on top.
At this year’s SEMA Show there were several modified Genesis Coupes on show. But this one, developed through a joint effort between Hyundai America Technical Center Inc, Magnuson Products, Rhys Millen Racing, Harman International and Torvec Inc, was one of the more interesting.

The Hyundai Genesis Coupe Hurricane SC is based on the V6 model, but instead of the standard 306 horsepower, there’s 450 ponies under the hood. That bump in power comes courtesy of a supercharger, an intercooler, a sports exhaust and a few other tweaks.
The Hyundai Genesis Coupe Hurricane SC  is also fitted with a IsoTorque differential from Torvev Inc. This helps improve traction and handling, and the company claim it alone helps the standard Genesis Coupe shave a second off each lap at the Hyundai road course.
To tighten up the handling still further, the Hyundai Genesis Coupe Hurricane SC  is fitted with Bilstein suspension. The brakes have also been upgraded and now there are massive Brembo six-piston calipers and cross-drilled discs.

To give the car a look to suit its performance, Rhys Millen Racing have fitted the Hyundai Genesis Coupe Hurricane SC  with some new clothes. There’s a new front bumper, grille, carbon fiber hood, side skirts diffuser and rear spoiler. Inside there are leather seats with blue suede accents.
