Cigarettte Racing Team creates 50′ boat inspired by AMG Vision GT Concept

Cigarette Racing and Mercedes-Benz’s high-performance division AMG have teamed up for the fourth consecutive year to present complimentary futuristic visions, the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo Concept car and the Cigarette Racing 50′ Vision GT Concept powerboat.

As you may recall, the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo supercar concept was created initially for the Playstation 3 racing game Gran Turismo 6, although Mercedes then went on to build a full-size version of the digital car.

However what wasn’t mentioned until now, is that at virtually the same time AMG were developing their concept car, Cigarette Racing were building a special, one-of-a-kind 50-foot powerboat inspired by the car. The Cigarette Racing 50′ Vision GT Concept is the most powerful production twin-engine performance boat ever developed and built by Cigarette Racing.

The Cigarette Racing 50′ Vision GT Concept has twin 1650 hp Mercury Racing engines, which roar at 300 hp per engine higher than the standard engines used in the 50′ Cigarette Marauder. Lightweight construction has allowed for approximately 1000 lbs to be removed from the standard spec weight, thereby allowing the boat to have an estimated top speed of more than 140 mph at a length of 50′ and a width of 8′.

The interior of the boat is black finished in black, with black upholstery and black alcantara accents. A carbon fiber dash panel features silver faced gauges and chrome accents. Oboard gadgetry includes Bluetooth connectivity, computerized controls, four high-definition displays, and the next generation integration of Garmin and Cigarette navigation and audio.

The price of this one-of-a-kind boat from Cigarette Racing Team is USD $1.5 million.
