Trion Nemesis – 2,000 HP American Supercar promises the world

Trion Nemesis supercar
The latest unknown, unproven company to release some pretty renders of a non-existent supercar and throw around some wild numbers is Trion Supercars from California. They’ve just announced that development work has begun on a 2,000 + horsepower supercar called the Trion Nemesis. The company also claims that their unbuilt supercar will have a 0-60 mph time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 270 mph.
Wild claims are all fine if you’re just trying to flesh out a pure concept vehicle with no plans for production. But if you’re stating these as fact, before the first prototype is even partially constructed, and with the intention of selling it for a considerable amount, you damn well better get your calculations right.

Trion Supercars will be turning to another company, n2a Motors to build the carbon fiber body of the Nemesis and put together the interior. The engine is a twin turbocharged V8 and the transmission is an 8-speed sequential unit.
The car will be equipped with something called a “Predator Mode”. This will adjust the interior illumination, recalibrate the suspension, alter the exhaust note and raise raise the rev limiter settings. The car will also use active aerodynamics which can be adjusted by the driver from the cockpit.

As well as managing to get 2,000 reliable horsepower out of a twin-turbocharged V8. Trion Supercars have also performed a miracle of packaging. The rear cargo area – about where the engine is – will apparently have enough room to carry a set of golf clubs, and also house the retractable rear wing.
