Honda Sportwagon concept by Psychoform

Honda Sportwagon by psychoform
Think of a Honda wagon and almost inevitably visions of dreary beige-colored non-events are thrust into your mind. But if California-based designer Rene Garcia, or Psycoform if you prefer, had his way then they’d be a hell of a lot more interesting, and look like this, the Honda Sportwagon concept.
Garcia has worked as a digital modeler on some of the biggest action and sci-fi movies of recent times. His modeling skill is in no doubt, and neither is his imagination. His Honda Sportwagon concept was designed to be grounded in reality, but at the same time have a touch of the sci-fi feel about it.

His initial sketches show that sharks were a source of inspiration for the Honda Sportwagon. This can be seen in the way the top of the front bumper protrudes out further than the bottom, giving it that ‘shark nose’ look. It is also evident in the way the extremely raked windscreen and low roofline are angled back to look like a shark’s upper body.
While it doesn’t stand much chance of getting built. The Honda Sportwagon concept would make an interesting alternative to some of the other more conservatively designed wagons and compact SUV’s out there.
