The Transformers film franchise has become more about the character vehicles than the plot. And the product placement is so acute that without it I don’t think they’d be able to keep rolling. So cue the latest news on the Transformers 4 front, and here we have a revised outfit for the key character ‘Bumblebee’.
As you know – unless you’ve only just managed to crawl out from under that rock last week – Bumblebee is a yellow-colored Transformer. One of the goodies and a main character. For the most part his alter ego for the last three films has been a equally yellow 5th generation Chevrolet Camaro. That’s set to continue, except that for the fourth Transformers flick he’s going to be getting a fairly extensive facelift.
Bumblebee’s new snout is much more futuristic than the current Camaro’s front end. The headlights are squinty-er and the grille much smaller. He’s got wider wheel arches, and some tidy new rims too.
