2017 Range Rover Evoque ‘Ember’ Special Edition Coming In Q4

Land Rover will be updating its Range Rover Evoque range for 2017, but the first edition of these will be sold as a limited ‘Ember’ edition with a striking red and black theme throughout the car’s exterior and interior.
Orders for the Range Rover Ember Ember edition will be open for a three-month period from June to August 2016 with a price of $93,499, and is due to make landfall in Australia in Q4 2016. When it does, will come with a price of $93,499 and sit at the top of the Evoque hierarchy.
The Ember edition is based on the Range Rover Evoque Td4 180 HSE Dynamic but there’s a laundry list of distinctive exterior and interior touches and some very welcome standard equipment to top it off.
Starting with the top of the car, there’s the Firenze Red roof that’s tapers down to the rest of the Evoque Ember’s body in a Santorini Black finish matched paired with dark satin 20-inch wheels.
These additions are part of the optional Black Pack, which the Ember comes selected with as well (and then some), including a black grille, black exhausts, and darkened headlamps and tail lamps, black ‘RANGE ROVER’ lettering on the bonnet, and Ember edition-specific adaptive LED headlamps and LED signature lighting.
The colour scheme follows on inside the Evoque Ember inside, of course, where most the cabin trim is dressed in Oxford leather or given a gloss black finish that’s are matched with Ebony black leather seats woven with contrasting Pimento red stitching and red floor carpets.
The Ember edition comes with the new InControl Touch Pro infotainment system, which Land Rover says has faster input responses and an interface that’s as intuitive as a smartphone.
The system uses a 10.2-inch touchscreen with a 1280x542 resolution (the older system used an 8-inch screen) and has features such as 3D mapping and a TouchPro function that syncs with the driver’s smartphone to offer pre-planned destinations and door-to-door navigation that allows for instruction after the user has left the vehicle (via the smartphone app).
