At the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March, South Korean automaker Ssangyong will unveil an all new SUV concept called the XLV (eXciting smart Lifestyle Vehicle).
Ssangyong say the XLV is a versatile SUV concept which is roughly 12 inches (30 cm) longer than the XIV-1 concept that preceded it, and it offers room for seven thanks to its unusual 2+2+2+1 seating arrangement. Powering the concept is a hybrid drivetrain which consists of a 1.6 litre diesel engine working in conjunction with an electric motor supplied by a lithium-ion battery.
In terms of design, the Ssangyong XLV concept is being used to showcase the company’s new ‘Nature born 3 motion’ styling philosophy. One thing’s for sure it looks a hell of a lot better than the Ssangyongs of old.
