Mercedes don’t really do pickups. Well unless you count the G 63 AMG 6×6. But there’s no shortage of older Mercs undergoing drastic metal surgery to create a wide variety of unique utes and pickups. This German forum post has put together a pretty good selection of homemade Mercedes pickups from across the world.
But I think it would take a brave soul to take a hacksaw to a brand-new S 63 AMG just so he can get that washing machine home from the shop. And that’s where prolific Hungarian photoshopper X-TOMI comes in. He can show you why it’s not a good idea, well before one of Germany’s finest automobiles is put to the sword.
To be fair, his Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG Pickup rendering does have its appeal. It would certainly turn more heads than just about any supercar. But somehow I doubt it would find many buyers. People with that sort of money tend to have room for both a car and a pickup.
