The 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) held in the COBO Center in Detroit is in its final days. This year the event ran from January 13th, and the doors close next weekend on the 26th. At the show several important production vehicles made their debuts, including the all-new Mustang, the glorious Corvette Z06, the sleek Lexus RC F and the funky-roofed Porsche 911 Targa.
Alongside the production cars were, as usual, numerous concept cars which preview the near-future. Most exciting of which was probably the Toyota FT- 1 – which rumor has it could serve as a starting point for the new Supra.

Other vehicles worthy of an honorable mention are the Volvo Concept XC Coupe – which continues the company’s design revival, the fun-looking Kia GT4 Stinger, the slightly daft Volkswagen Beetle Dune, the much more serious Audi Allroad Shooting Brake. and theNissan Sport Sedan Concept – which drove away with the “Best Concept” award.
