Infiniti Q30 Concept set for Frankfurt debut

Infiniti will unveil their latest concept car, the Q30, at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show this September. The Infiniti Q30 is a design proposal for a compact vehicle in the premium segment, a competitior for the likes of the Mercedes A-Class and Lexus CT 200h. The Q30 will be Infiniti’s first vehicle to be offered in this specific niche market, and the company say it will be targeted at a new generation of premium car buyers. The Infiniti Q30 will also be the first new model to be assisted in development from the very start by Infiniti’s Director of Performance, Sebastien Vettel.
The styling of the Infiniti Q30 follows on from that of the Q50, which was introduced earlier this year at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Like the Q50, the Q30 features design inspirations taken from the Infiniti Essence, Etherea and Emerg-econcept cars.
Johan de Nysschen, President of Infiniti said of the new vehicle, “This Infiniti Q30 Concept is a prelude to the product portfolio expansion which underpins our aggressive global growth strategy.  In our quest to appeal to the modern, young-minded premium customer, the Infiniti Q30 Concept has a distinctive style and reaches new levels of product quality.”
