To borrow a quote from the infamous Jeremy Clarkson, The Daihatsu DC Sho Case concept was; “clearly designed by someone who only had a ruler at their disposal.”
Daihatsu say the FC Sho Case is a compact, environmentally friendly, multi-purpose concept vehicle which features an advanced liquid fuel cell drivetrain which doesn’t contain any rare metals. The location of the fuel cell – under the floor – means the interior space can be made completely level, and due to the fact the seats and the steering wheel can be folded neatly away, the interior can become one giant show case – hence the name.
The Daihatsu FC Sho Case measures in at 3.4 metres (11.1 feet) long, 1.5 metres (4.9 feet) wide, and 1.9 metres (6.2 feet) high. The vertical windscreen ensures it has one of the worst aerodynamic profiles ever created. And to top it all off, it has more than a hint of late 90s concept automobile design about it.
